Hailing from a small town in Northeast Texas, Dr. Kara Paeltz received her undergraduate degree in Health and Kinesiology from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2008. During her tenure at UT Tyler, she worked as a competitive cheerleading and gymnastic coach for ages 4 months to 18 years old. This experience ignited Dr. Paeltz’s passion for working with children. Dr. Paeltz also attended Hands On Therapy School of Massage further strengthening her innate passion to help people by utilizing her God given talents to their fullest. Upon earning her Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. Paeltz helped cancer patients rehabilitate and increase their overall independence at a non-profit cancer foundation. Through this role, she learned the importance of enhancing each individual’s quality of life and made that her ultimate goal.
Dr. Paeltz went on to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and Bachelors of Health and Wellness at Parker University in Dallas, TX. At Parker, she was active in both the student government and clinic abroad programs. In 2012, Dr. Paeltz was chosen to attend the Central America and Caribbean Junior National Track and Field Championships in El Salvador where she treated the best athletes from the surrounding countries. Currently, Dr. Paeltz is pursuing her Diplomat in Neurology from the Carrick Institute, she holds the Webster Certification with the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association.
Dr. Paeltz is a member of the American Chiropractor Association, the Texas Chiropractic Association, the North East Tarrant County Chamber and the Hurst Euless Bedford Chamber.
Dr. Justin Paeltz is originally from Amarillo, TX where he grew up playing multiple sports including football and track and field. It was when he hurt his low back multiple times in high school he thought there had to be something more than just pain-medication to address his ailment. Fast forward a couple of years when pre-med at West Texas A&M in Canyon, TX Dr. Paeltz realized the answer was chiropractic. Soon after a tour of Parker University he quickly decided he had found his calling and moved to the Dallas area to embark on his journey.
Dr. Paeltz served as President of the Student American Chiropractic Association for Parker University for 2 years and on the Executive Board for the Student Texas Chiropractic Association for 2 years. He made multiple trips to Washington DC and Austin to lobby for patient rights to receive quality and affordable chiropractic care. During his last 8 months of chiropractic school Dr. Paeltz was selected to participate in the Community Based Internship (CBI) program at Expressions Chiropractic in Cedar Hill. Working directly under Dr. Kirtland Speaks he was exposed to treating conditions of all kinds in and outside of the clinical setting. He kept his passion for sports alive by providing care along the sidelines for Trinity Christian High School during varsity football games and many sporting events in the Dallas area. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker University in 2013 and holds two Bachelors of Science degrees in Anatomy and Health and Wellness. Dr. Paeltz is a board certified chiropractor in the state of Texas and utilizes multiple chiropractic techniques including Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson, and Activator.
Dr. Paeltz spends his free time outdoors doing anything from cycling and sailing to hunting and fishing. He is an active member of both the Texas and American Chiropractic Associations and volunteers at The Healing Sheppard Clinic in Downtown Fort Worth providing chiropractic care to the homeless.
Both doctors started dating in chiropractic school and married in 2014. They live in Northeast Tarrant County with their two Yorkies, Kapri & Kami.
